Tom Amstutzis a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Toledo from 2001 to 2008, compiling a 58–41 record, including a 39–24 mark in conference play. Known as "Toledo Tom", he is a native of Toledo, Ohio. Amstutz played college football at Toledo from 1974 to 1976. We have eight defensive starters back, but we have a new system, so we're looking for the guys with the athletic ability to help out there.
