Teddy pitched exceptionally strong. Our errors did come back and hurt us. Otherwise it was a good baseball game. It came down to who played the cleanest defensively and we did not.
aggressive ball both brought great patient pitcher played together win
We were patient on their big pitcher when he wasn't in the (strike) zone, and we got aggressive when he brought the ball into the zone. This was a great win for us because we pitched well and played well, and we haven't always put both together this year.

Ted put the fingers down and Matt did exactly what the game plan was. Matt sure pitched a heck of a game today and it was nice to see. He works real hard on his pitching and it showed today.

We played error-free baseball. We played pretty clean ball. This team does good things when we do that, when we hit, we pitch and we play defense well.

We haven't had a game this tight all year. I feel very fortunate that we won this game but at the same time I also think we earned it because we hit a lot of balls at them hard.

From my conversations with him, he's having a great spring. He's a lefty that throws hard. He has a lot of potential, a lot of upside. His work ethic ? I'd challenge people to match it. He's tunnel vision. He knows what he wants. Hopefully the stars line up for him. He's a great individual.

Matt was at his best, his stuff was very good, and he pounded in a lot of first strikes which is always impressive.

I'm a little concerned about the defense. Our defense needs to shore itself up.

Davis is tenacious at the plate, they pressured our defense, and we didn't execute defensively in a few key spots.

They didn't quit. We scored first, we had them down the majority of the game. They were tenacious about it. That's not to say we (gave up). We missed some opportunities. We threw the ball around a bit. They came back and took it. There's more to it than that last inning. This was a tight ball game.
