cost fourth huge missed possibly sick team totally
That fourth goal, it's totally my fault. That's a play I have to make 10 out of 10 times, and I missed the puck. I cost our team a huge point, and possibly two. I feel sick and that's inexcusable.
bought looked past practice talked
We talked about getting better in practice from day one. They bought into it and we never looked past anyone.
continue defense far hard improve improving playing team
We have to continue to improve on our team chemistry. We also have to keep improving on our defense and keep playing as hard as we have so far this season.
game hands mistakes seconds seven
We had the game in our hands with seven seconds left. If we don't make mistakes, we win.
control fault figure game goal next past solution sure time useless whose winning
It would be useless to try to come up with an explanation or a solution to the past two games. We have to figure out what we are going to do for the next game and how we are going to come out and play. We can't look around and say whose fault it is on this goal or on that goal. It's time to just make sure we go out and take control of our own destiny, and that's by winning two games.
damage everybody glad help
It was unbelievable down there. The damage that was done, we're just glad we got to go down there and help everybody that was in need of our help.
answered both doubt questions
There's some questions surrounding both teams, no doubt. They'll be answered in the first round.
drives forcing goals stopping team
We have (defensive) team goals, ... Our goals are stopping yards, stopping long drives and forcing turnovers.
finally healthy injury last seen since starting stroke time
Bradley is finally starting to get healthy after that injury he had last Monday. I told him it had been a long time since we've seen that stroke come back.
power
You get a power play and you think, 'We get one here, the door's shut. But the way things are going for us, we will take the two points.
determined lose rather
You'd rather lose 6-1 or 6-2; that way you're embarrassed and you want to come back. If you lose 3-2 or 4-2, you're not as determined to come back.
care focus worry
We can't worry about the standings, we have to worry about how we're playing. If we focus on what we're doing, the standings will take care of itself.
battle both character four great lost nobody player special team winning
That was one for the ages. There was a winning team but nobody really lost this game. Both goalies were great. Everyone used every player on the bench. We got great shifts from all four lines. This was a special team effort. This was a battle of guts, will and character out there.
ages battle character losing union
That was one for the ages right there. There was a winner, but there was really no losing team. It was a battle of guts, will and character ? for Union just as much as for us.
