We finally got some confidence back. They also did a better job of paying attention to what was going on around them. We'll take it and build to next (race). We know we're still on the outside looking in to get out (for state).

If I own my house, and I'm going to pay for the shingles, and I'm going to do the work, why do I have to ask the city's permission to do it, and then pay them a fee to ask for the permission?

I think the employees came out good this time. Two percent isn't much I would loved to have seen 10 or 15 or 20 percent, you know. Who wouldn't? But it's a step in the right direction, and I'm glad to see it,

I'm very happy with (the city manager's proposal. I think we can all live with that. To bring that 2-to-1 retirement back, that's a big boost,
majority people pick sounds voted
I didn't really care, one way or the other. But it sounds like the people didn't want it, so that's the way it was voted. That's what it was all about let the people vote. A majority of the people voted they do not want privatization, so we won't have it. We'll pick up and go from there.
