darkest diverse dynamics heavy mechanical next others record songs
I see the next record as being a little more diverse than what we've done before. We will take it to the extreme. Some of them will be very mechanical and heavy and others very rhythmic. We're also going to incorporate a sense of dynamics and some of the songs will be the darkest we've done.
affects almost deal focus great learn limits research seeing sit
It limits us from being able to sit down and focus on writing a song. It also affects us because we learn a lot from seeing other bands. It's almost like a great deal of research before we write the new material.
competing gets hard tours wallet
There are not as many tours competing with it. In the summer, you have all those tours competing with each other, which gets kind of hard on the wallet as a fan.
again agree coming cycle grab hit hold labels major metal peak quite repeating seems trying waves
I agree that metal doesn't ever really go away, but it does have waves of popularity, and right now it seems to be growing. I don't think it's quite hit its peak again, but it is on the way up. Major labels are trying to grab hold of a lot of the metal bands, and that whole thing is coming around again too; you can kind of see the whole cycle repeating itself.
song home writing
Every time I'm home from tour I try to write some new songs, but it can get really hard trying to keep up with normal life, I always get so behind.
one-day band festivals
European festivals area lot bigger than American ones, but I like the travelling festivals, it's the same production every day and the bands get used to the stage set up and by the third or fourth show of the tour they're putting on a better show than if they just played one day.
thinking people band
I think that people like getting their money's worth, so it's cool to have a load of bands in a similar genre.
religious believe years
The more I sought truth uncorrupted by years of religious history, the more I kept finding answers I didn’t want to find. Emotionally, it would have been easiest for me to just hold on to what I grew up believing, but mentally that wasn’t an option anymore.
life struggle found
Only through struggle, have I found rest.
