class flow improve trying
I think it will improve the flow of the game, especially in Class AA when you're trying to play more kids.
ball begin defense kids man messed straight talking turn zone
We went to a zone defense to begin with and that messed our kids up. They weren't talking as much as they should have. We went straight man (defense) and we got them to turn the ball over.
ball double good guards hopefully hoping inside post tough
We have some good guards and also some good post players. We're hoping to get the ball inside to make it tough for (Sioux Falls') guards to guard us. Hopefully they'll have to double down.
attack awhile gate good quite shot wondered
I wondered for quite awhile if a shot would fall. Defensively, we were good enough, but we were tentative out of the gate offensively. We didn't attack as well as I would like from the start.
free game throws
Free throws were really important in a nip-and-tuck game like this. We made just enough to survive.
easy gave hard points quick seen until
We've seen them on tape, but it's hard to know how quick they (Knights) are until you see them play. We gave them too many easy points in the paint.
against ball defense games good helps hit inside last loosen main open order outside playing presence shooting shots sioux
We're playing good defense right now. But, the main thing is that we've been shooting the ball a lot better than we had been. The last two games I think we hit 15 threes (and) that helps loosen things up inside. We have to have an inside presence in order to get open shots outside against Sioux Falls.
balance ball couple keeping knew last shooting
We wanted to try keeping Sturgis off balance as much as possible. We knew they were shooting the ball really well the last couple of games.
came played ready
I thought we were tentative and they came out ready to go. They played to their level.
basket easy gave
We gave them an easy basket and you can't do that.
coleman great quick second stop
They're very quick and we started to get a little tired. When we let (Tyler Schulte) penetrate into the lane, we couldn't stop them. And Coleman had a great second half. He put them over the top.
