Teemu Ilmari Selänne, nicknamed "The Finnish Flash", is a Finnish former professional ice hockey winger. He began his professional career in 1989–90 with Jokerit of the SM-liiga and played 21 seasons in the National Hockey Leaguefor the Winnipeg Jets, Anaheim Ducks, San Jose Sharks and Colorado Avalanche. The ice has never been good here. It is OK. Nothing special. Not like in Canada.
All the games he played in the regular season, he did his job well. We have lots of confidence in him, too, and that's a good sign.
The first two periods I was feeling great. I had so much energy. I ran out of gas a little bit in the third, but the best thing is I didn't feel any pain ... It's a great feeling to be back.
