Terrence Edwin Roof, Jr.is an American football coach and former player. Currently, he is the defensive coordinator at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Roof served as the head coach at Duke University from 2003 to 2007, compiling a 6–45 record. Noted for his highly aggressive defenses, Roof was the defensive coordinator at the University of Minnesota, and at Auburn University, winning the 2011 BCS National Championship Game. They were under duress a large part of the time, so it's tough to evaluate. We didn't protect and they didn't have time. I thought Mike threw some good balls, and we had a couple of drops. We have to make those plays.

We're going to wait to see what happens. We don't know what's going to happen right there right now. We're going to practice this week and give some guys some turns, some opportunities, and then we'll make an announcement about what we're going to do there a little bit closer to the game.

Right now we're preparing like we're not going to have him. The most important thing for him is to take care of his family. That's the top priority.
