helped hit inside ivory normally open outside packing
They were packing it back inside pretty good. We normally like to look inside, but sometimes you just have to take the outside shot. Ivory hit some big baskets that really helped open things up for us.
ball normally push run
We didn't run and a lot of that had to do with Ivory. We didn't push the ball like we normally do, get it out and go. Some of that was not getting the rebounds.
against backs gears higher holding level moved normally played shifted
Our backs were against the wall, we had to produce. We had not played on the level we normally play on. I think we shifted gears and moved to a higher level. I don't know if they were holding out or what.
energy felt gets hurt ivory normally rhythm spark
I didn't feel we were in rhythm today, especially after Ivory got hurt. She's our spark that gets us going, and I just felt that the energy that we normally have just wasn't there.
cylinders hitting normally
I didn't feel like we were in rhythm. We just weren't hitting on all cylinders like we normally do.
aggressive ball good kids movement played taking threw tried year
We just tried to do the same things we've been doing all year -- be aggressive defensively and offensively, taking the ball to the basket, getting it inside, getting good movement in our offense. Defensively we threw some different things at them. I thought our kids played really hard.
asked bigger chemistry good great locker room special talked
We just talked in the locker room that this is great. I congratulated them and asked if this is good enough. And they said, 'No.' They want to do bigger and better things. They're special kids, they have great chemistry and they have fun.
fast supposed
We're very organized. Really. (The players) know what they're supposed to do. They just do it at a fast pace.
ball familiar focused playing rebound stay
We're very familiar with each other. We could be playing each other in another week. We just want to stay focused and try to keep doing what we've been doing but rebound the ball a little better.
fun game games paint people season watch watched watching
I've watched some (television) games this season at my house. Some of these games, it's like watching paint dry. And I don't like that. I want the game to be fun and exciting. I want people to want to watch women's basketball.
coach good great trust
I've been doing this a long time, and I've had a lot of great teams. Trust me, I know, any coach is only as good as their players. I've got great players, and I've got a great staff. They make me look good.
game happened last sweeter time
I've been doing it 31 years, this is nice. I'd like to have it the last game of the season. It happened to me one time before, and there's nothing sweeter than that.
above heads league year
I've been in this league 20 years and every year we say it can't get any better, but this year we're just heads above all the other conferences.
game motivated positive prepare strength team
Our team will be very motivated by the strength of our bracket. We'll use it as a positive to prepare for every game we play.
