ball dozen front harder hardest hit might pen round three
The first three were Stuart. We'll see when I have three dozen in front of me. They say the hardest thing to do is hit a round ball with a round bat. I think it might be harder to use a round ballpoint pen on a round baseball.
along balance constantly deal good looked management matt money president spend
We've been constantly writing checks. I haven't looked at the balance yet. We have a good deal of money to spend but (team president Matt Silverman 's) job, along with management and myself, is determining how much do we spend today, how much do we spend over a three-year period, how much over a seven-year period, and, most importantly, where is the money deployed.
national received
We've received a lot of national press. It's been positive, and it's had a spillover to a lot of national sponsorship deals.

The time has come for dramatic change for this organization.
past pointed scale

almost best both close days greater journey losses period stop team three trip wins work
It's like you're going on vacation, and the trip is three days away, that's probably the best time, that anticipation. It's almost like the anticipation is greater than the journey itself. I don't think that's going to be the case. But right now, if I can almost stop time, it's this great period where we're just close enough, and you see all this spectacular work getting done, both with the team and the organization and the stadium, that if I can just stop it now, it would be great. Unfortunately wins and losses will muck everything up.
clear cost indication nice people trying
It's going to cost us some real money, and it's not something that necessarily will be here for forever. But when you're trying to make nice and when you're trying to show people that you're here for the long run, I think it's as clear an indication as anything we can do.
coming good seem
There's a lot of good going on right now. And we seem to be coming along.

entire franchise looking means profits putting victories
We're not looking for short-term profits or short-term kudos or short-term victories if it means we're putting the entire franchise at risk.
allow certainly point successful year
We want to win. Will that make it a success? Absolutely. But there are other things that certainly would allow us to point to this year as a very successful year, and I think we're already on the way.
