Kerry is a guy who shows great character. He's a guy who's stuck in there. It's hard, because every game he plays is like an away game because he's got the crowd booing him and all that stuff. I give him a lot of credit to come in here and work hard every week like he does. Sometimes people put a lot of pressure on the quarterback, but there are other reasons why sometimes there's interceptions or the offense isn't doing so well. It's disappointing to see everyone put it on his shoulders.

I thought maybe they would try to exploit those guys a little bit. Even when they tried, they were knocking down passes, making tackles and stopping them short on third downs. It was awesome to see.

I can just remember him going through his progression, and it was just like picture-perfect, ... Back then, with five wide receivers, he had a lot of guys to choose from. He'd go through 'em, come back to his first one, go to his second one and hit the third one on the second time around for a big play.

We knew that if he went out of the backfield that they were going to get him the ball, ... We knew that he was their most valuable player. Even with (Donovan) McNabb and Owens out there we knew that he was the guy that we had to stop.

It's a record we don't want. I think we will have some opportunities this week. I think he (Giants quarterback Eli Manning) is going to try to force some things, especially in the red zone. He hasn't thrown but one (touchdown pass) in recent weeks and might press his luck.

Although he plays very well under pressure, with pressure I think he'll force some balls into the air. He kind of throws the ball in there and tries to let (his receivers) make a play. We have to be the ones coming down with it.

Younger running backs who aren't as confident in their blocking ability will line up closer to the quarterback if it's a pass play. If it's a running play, they'll line up fairly deep.

I think we have improved every week. Of course our record doesn't show it, but if people want to look at our preseason record and try to figure how good the team is off that, I think they are going to be in for a surprise when we come to the regular season.
