contending fans mouth pick playoff spot supposed
We were supposed to be contending for a playoff spot right now. Instead, we're contending for the No. 1 pick in the draft. Our fans are kind of frothing at the mouth over it.
absolutely begin dent people slammed small upbeat wait
We're absolutely slammed and we don't have enough people to wait on all these tables. But everyone is upbeat and positive. We wanted to help, even if it's just a little bit. We can't even begin to make a dent in contributions, but if we can make some small difference, then that's great.
attention coach feeling game good great greater imagine perform pressure situations throwing unless
That was one of those situations where I imagine he's feeling a little pressure to perform in the big game with all the attention surrounding him. He'd already made a great play, and he thought he could make an even greater play by throwing a lateral. But any coach will tell you that's not really a good play unless it works.
funnier plant throw
I would never plant anything like that. I don't have $30,000 to throw away. ... It would have been a lot funnier if we'd have won.
bit chairs line musical played shuffle
We played a bit of musical chairs today, ... We thought we had the line set on Thursday, but when Zach went down, that put us in shuffle mode.
establish finesse football knock offense offensive pass people physical running scheme thrives trick tries
I like (Denver's) offense a lot. It thrives on running the football and establishing the run. They establish the pass off the run. As offensive linemen, that's a scheme you want to be in. It allows you to be physical and knock people around. It's not so much a finesse offense that tries to trick people.
love meat
I love it because it's all-you-can-eat meat for $44.50..
bush cheering draft fans five gives hearing hope last next optimism pick rooting six sure understand
I'm sure they're cheering in Houston. We've been hearing about the Reggie Bush pick for the last five or six weeks. A lot of our fans have been rooting for us to lose. I understand what they mean. Having the No. 1 pick in the draft gives them hope and optimism for next season.
fun sick
It's not fun to be in this situation. We're all frustrated. Disgusted. Sick of it.
character coach good guy high hurts moral respect tremendous
That hurts me because I have tremendous respect for coach Capers as a person and as a coach. He has such high character and moral fiber. He's just a good guy you want to play for.
knew talked
We talked about it in the huddle right before that. We knew we were going to score.
customers few happy quite saying
There's been quite a few customers saying they're happy about that. I know we are. We're happy to get that rolling.
draft impression knowing seen
It just got real interesting for sure. I was pretty much under the impression we were getting Reggie Bush. Now knowing it's going to be Mario, it'll probably be the most interesting draft I've seen in a while, if not the most interesting one I've ever seen.
felt sorry
It was emotional; it was difficult. I felt sorry for him.
