We were a sick team at the start of it, and then I thought we became a banged-up team as well, ... A third of the team is feeling like it should be in bed. We need a bye right now. It was a long preseason. And now we're a little banged up on top of that. I just need to get these guys a break.

We are playing aggressive defense. We are playing smart. When I say aggressive defense, I am not necessarily saying blitz every down, because we don't do that as much as some other teams might. We are making plays at the ball. We are returning them like we practiced. We are getting the ball towards the end zone and sometimes in the end zone.

You can see from watching that we have more team speed and quickness. That's exciting.

I was trying to shift the receivers around, and I asked Roy if he could play the Z (flanker) position for the rest of the game. He said he didn't think his leg was up to that. I had to base things a lot on his decision. I can't feel how much his leg hurts.
