Everybody's been having high expectations around here forever. Our ultimate goal is to go to state and win state every year. Our ultimate goal for this year is to win the last game of the year. We're going to work hard.
balanced case engine focus gone instead laid lets plans program reward risk start versus work
Historically when weve gone into a program like this, weve had engine developments that start right off the bat. Instead were saying, lets focus our new propulsion development on much smaller-scale efforts. Lets also have back up plans in case it doesnt work out. Its a balanced risk versus reward that weve laid out here.

Hard work on the training ground paid off tonight, although certain aspects of our play was sloppy. If this was a blip, then it couldn't have come at a better time.

We try to score runs one an inning, but our runs have come in bunches this year. When Royal was getting on base, we win. We're a different team when he's on base. He makes all of our guys better hitters when he's on base.

Even though we were hitting the ball well, we didn't want to become complacent. We wanted to put some pressure on their defense.

We don't look at standings or stats. Those are good for mom and dad and grandpa and grandma. We have North Valleys on Thursday. Standings are nice, but we want to be on top. We want only one loss on our record going in against Reno, but we're not taking anybody for granted.

I've had people find that I have the only white one in the area, and they drive quite a few miles to get it. Everybody really likes the look.
