It was turnovers, unforced turnovers. Bellville just kind of hung around. And when they hung around, you could see their confidence grow. We went to sleep on a couple of put-backs.
doubles season second time tougher
Doubles were better the second time around and that should make us tougher as the season progresses.

We finally got five kids in double figures. We've had four in double figures four or five times. I think we have to (have scoring from everyone).

That was just a real determined Truman team. We warned the kids they were going to make a run. They came in and made adjustments, and we panicked toward the end.

We played a very good game. We started out slowly, falling behind by as much as 17 points, but in the second half, we battled back and made a game of it.

We forced some things when they switched to a zone. We had a pretty good first quarter, but we kept putting them on the line. I told them after the first, we had to keep doing this without putting them on the line.
extra gives hate jump kids time
I hate the bye. It gives the kids extra time to read the papers. I like to jump right into the action.

We thank him a lot for that (the food).

It sounds like it's a good idea only if there is no harassment. If we all comply with it ... this thing is a start.

It was a great win the first time we've every defeated Davidson and the girls played with great discipline.

His defensive intensity is what set him apart. He has a desire to win.

I'm very happy for the win, I believe it's the first time ETSU has ever defeated Middle Tennessee. The girls all played well from top to bottom, we played well as a team and we are looking forward to getting back on the courts tomorrow.
