bit booked excited hopefully maybe month next point songs staggering studio test touring
We're kind of staggering the touring a bit at this point just to write more songs for our next record. We've got a month booked to just go write, which I think we're all excited about. And then maybe test 'em out just on tour, maybe in February, and then hopefully be in the studio for the spring.
act might work
What's our deal? I don't knowBut, I'll act as if it is what I think that it isIf it is, then this might just work
capture energy ideas playing
We had generated so much energy and so many new ideas playing live and we wanted to capture that as much as possible.
blood cutting decided head holding neck scene
We haven't decided on everything yet, but ... I just wanted a scene where I'm holding up my own head and cutting it off at the neck and there's just blood dripping down.
apparently cheaper might shoot talking underwater
Yeah, it wasn't in the budget. I think we still might shoot it underwater though, it's what we're talking about. Apparently that's cheaper than space.
best bridge good
It's got the best bridge on the album. If there's any bridge connoisseurs out there, it's got a good bridge.
love
I love it, but I always love new stuff.
drought event overnight time took
It took us a long time to get in a drought and it won't take one overnight event to get us out.
chicago lyrics road song tend wrote
Every record, you want it to be different, and you write differently in different cities. We wrote a song in Spain, we wrote a song in Chicago ... and when you write lyrics on the road they tend to be more psychedelic.
constant reminder
And the only thing constant was the constant reminder she'd never change.
burning crops danger dried fire gardens hot suffering watered
As hot as it's been with no rain, anything that hasn't been watered is pretty well dried up by now. I would think people's lawns and gardens are burning up if they haven't been watered. Non-irrigated crops are probably suffering pretty bad. Probably, the fire danger in those areas, of course, is going to be higher.
album best early favorite four ideas last led literally next sleep stuff three till trying zeppelin
We're trying to write the next album while we're on the road, kind of like Led Zeppelin did it in their early days. I know some of my favorite ideas come at like 8 in the morning, so I've just been an insomniac the last little while, like literally just up till 10 a.m. and I'll sleep for like three or four hours. And some of the best stuff comes out of that.
crowd four jumps last months obvious seemed since single though touring
Since we've been touring the last four months or so, the crowd always jumps to it like it's a single or something, even though it never was a single. So it seemed like the obvious choice.
gotten lake rain swan
Reydell and Swan Lake look like they haven't fared so well. They haven't gotten any rain down there.
