anyone bit home league starting tougher
We've got 12 home wins, the most of anyone in the league right now. It's starting to become a bit of a tougher place to play.
bottom change five including league longer might talking teams top weeks
There's a lot that can change in five games, including the standings. Two weeks from now we might be talking about teams at the bottom of our league no longer at the bottom and teams at the top of the league no longer at the top.
difficult games hard homes league losing played regardless risk road run shots top win
It's very difficult to win road games, but it's hard to win homes games (too). If, all of a sudden, you don't play well -- a game where you don't make shots or where you're not on top of your game defensively -- you really run the risk of losing regardless of where the game is being played ... This league is very demanding, very difficult.
experience hard league win
It was our first experience to be here (first place) by ourselves. Everyone was a little too uptight. You have to go through it first; that's why I think it's very hard to win a league championship.
beat five last league people team time top
They've been on the top of our league for the last five years. They've been the team to beat for a long time and not a lot of people have been able to do it.
bottom five league longer might near respect talking teams top weeks
That's why we're the No. 1 league in the country. It's obvious. We respect everyone, and we have to play well. ... We're down to five games, but a lot can change. Teams near the top could be in the middle. Two weeks from now we might be talking about teams at the bottom no longer being at the bottom.
dad freshman junior senior time took
When I was a freshman and sophomore, I got booed every time I was put in the game. Then, in my junior and senior years, my dad got booed every time he took me out.
caliber enjoy extra friday games gives glad playing straight three till
We're going to enjoy this for 48 hours. I'm glad we don't play till Friday because playing three games of this caliber in three straight days, it gives us an extra day to get some rest.
continue good job next possession shot turn
We're going to have to continue that. We're going to have times when we don't score, we turn it over. And when that happens, the next possession we've got to do a very good job of getting the shot that we want.
body healthy helped move obviously
When he got healthy as an individual, it obviously helped this team. He got his own body back. He could move defensively.
talks
We've already kind of had all the talks that we were going to have.
three
We've already got three up on the board.
bob business certain dean john mike people
There are certain people in our business that you don't replace - Bob Knight, Dean Smith, Mike Krzyzyewski, and you don't replace John Wooden, either.
appreciate basketball behalf brian commitment continued director efforts extended felt hard hard-work last move moves necessary operations past program progress rich seasons seven six straight successes toward winning wins work
We appreciate the hard work and efforts that Rich and Greg have extended on behalf of this program over the past seven years. With 46 wins in the last two seasons and six straight winning seasons, they have contributed to a lot of the successes we have enjoyed. In my long?term commitment toward the future, I wanted to move Brian to director of basketball operations and felt these moves were necessary for the continued progress of the program.
