We've been through a lot with teams playing us differently. But it's all right because we have one of those situations where no one cares who gets the credit. They just work really hard to get the win.

For our seniors, it was a combination of joy and relief. They realized this was their last chance to get a district title. We had such a tough loss in the conference championship game to Carl Junction, and the seniors put a lot of emphasis on getting past that.

I couldn't believe it. I got a little carried away there, but when you get old like me, you wonder how many (chances you'll get to celebrate like that). I jumped around a little bit. We're just really excited about our players, especially the seniors.
