Then I heard from the PR person for the ALA, talking about my appearance on the 'Today' show,
certain earlier version vindicated
After 'Old Lady' I showed this earlier version (of 'Joseph') to my publisher. I said, 'What if I redo this?' I made all new illustrations for it ... and I just lucked out. I feel a little vindicated in a certain sense.
