anybody leave matters pitch ready solid sometime spring whenever
I know I'll pitch sometime during the season. I'll just leave it at that. I'll be ready to go whenever that is. I had a pretty solid spring and I don't know how much it matters to anybody else.
good
I'm thinking, 'Without this team, I wouldn't have done as good as I have.'
knew
In Colorado, we knew how to play hard,
coming days eat either innings knew pitch sit
I knew coming in it was either going to be one of those days where I struggled, and I was going to have to sit out there and eat up innings or I was going to pitch good,
biggest concern eliminate guys pitch putting trying
I'm just trying to eliminate putting guys on base. That is the biggest concern for me. I always want to go out and pitch well. You don't want to get in those kind of jams all the time.
bat came coming guy guys run score second

ask chance opportunity pitch
I'm getting an opportunity to show that I can pitch and pitch in big games, ... That's all you can ask as an athlete, a chance to do big things.
bottom proud seven strong throwing
I'm proud, but not too proud because we did lose. Throwing seven strong innings, I'm always going to be proud of that. But the bottom line's winning, and we didn't get it done tonight.
good hurt
I had a pretty good spring. I don't think I hurt myself at all. We'll see what happens.
eliminate trying
I'm trying to eliminate the get-yourself-into-trouble part. That's not fun, but it happens. I've been compensating so far.
giving
Not giving up two-run homers in the first inning, that's always a bonus.
bad
It was a bad day to have a bad day,
