The middle of our ruck was at times very, very poor. Of four tries in the second half, three of them were straight down the middle of the ruck.

There's going to be times when penalties are given and you think, 'There's not much in that,' and there's going to be other times where you look and think, 'If that was a penalty five minutes ago why isn't this now'? I think we need to give it a bit of time and we need to see if the game changes in terms of maybe not having three or four numbers in a tackle.

I'd like that to continue, but I'd like him to score some earlier. Maybe he could do it at the end of the game when we're winning.

Tonight I just felt there were times when we showed a little more desperation than the other side. Tonight was our grand final. We knew there was no tomorrow for us.

He was very close to coming back this week but we've decided to give him another week. He should be right to go then.
building club contract extending further glad happy season strong
I'm very happy to be extending my contract for a further season (until 2007). I think we are building a strong club and I'm glad that I will be a part of the future.

I'm surprised someone didn't see it. We had our trainers and medical staff trying to get the play to be stopped because we thought it was serious enough. You have sometimes where there will be an indication to a ref to stop the play where there's a serious injury.
again game issue minute period played seems
Once again we were under too much pressure, and that 10-12 minute period before half-time seems to be an issue for us. It's been an issue in every game we've played so far.
develop enhance further gave greater maturity opportunity skills watch
I gave most of them an opportunity and now I get a greater opportunity to further enhance their skills and maturity and to watch them develop to be even better players.
