game gave good great half last lost michigan separate step talent
The last two years we lost the first game of this tournament, so this is a big step for the program. Michigan gave us a good battle. They've got some great talent on that team. We did some good things in the first half to separate ourselves.
great indiana state
Indiana State is a great team. With in-state teams, it is always a rivalry, but we've got to play our game.
meet nice walk
It's nice when you walk in a room, and you meet kids, and they give you a hug. They need me as much as I need them right now.
good impressed
I'm only as good as they are. You're going to be so impressed by all of them.
best floor gonna great obviously ohio pressure state teams
Ohio State is obviously one of the best teams in the country. They just have all-around great athletes, great defenders. They're gonna try to get up and down the floor as much as they can. They're gonna pressure us as much as they can. They're gonna look to take us out of our game.
basketball good great knew
It was a great basketball game, and we knew it would be a great battle. We had a good look at the end, but it just didn't fall.
continuing environment great grow
It was a great environment today. We're continuing to grow and get better.
exciting good group job time
It's real exciting to be in the tournament. It's my first time with this group of young ladies, and we really have done a pretty good job this year.
against continues domino hurt knock played pressure rusty shots
Their pressure didn't hurt us, we played against that up there. We just didn't knock down shots and we had that deer-in-the-headlight look. ... We were rusty offensively, and when a lot of things go like that, it continues the domino effect.
step tonight
Tonight was a big step for us and a big step for the program.
athletic basketball continue encourage fans great helps hope player program sixth support turn
We had a great turn out today. I hope we continue to have between 2,500 and 3,000 fans every game. The fans are the sixth player and it really helps the program and the players. We encourage everyone to continue to come and support IU women's basketball and all IU athletic sports.
bit caused minnesota problems
We flustered them a little bit and then it just builds. That's usually what Minnesota does to us. They've caused us a lot of problems before, and they still did cause us problems. But I think we flustered them a little bit more.
