It was a mixed review last week. I was not pleased with our effort or attention to detail against Miami. Then we played at a high level on the defensive end against Florida State. It was nice to see the guys bounce back and show the toughness needed to survive in this conference.

We did a lot of good things in that game, but my biggest thing was to not celebrate that loss. There were some things that we could learn from. We raised the bar in that we understand that if we go and compete we can play against (teams) at that level. Those are the expectations we have with our team. This is a pretty competitive group.

We're dealing with some things with some players that make it difficult for those kids, but I think we're making progress. Sometimes it doesn't show on the scoreboard, but we're moving along.
