against comfort confident crowd focus knocking loose playing shots team typical
We're real confident at home. Everybody's knocking down shots and things like that, getting to loose balls. But that's typical of a young team because being young, playing at home, you're in your comfort zone. Going away, you're uncomfortable, the crowd is against you and you've just got to be disciplined and focus in.
help teammates tough
It was very frustrating. It's tough to see your teammates out there battling, and you can't help them.
bench best clear fix gym playing seeing shots teammates
It's real frustrating, being on the bench and seeing my teammates going out there without me, battling. ... I'm always disappointed when I'm not playing the best that I can and I'm not playing up to my potential. I really just try to go in the gym and fix it, get a lot of shots up and clear my mind.
couple determination energy game hunger lost minutes team
Their whole team had a lot of energy, way more than us. That's why we lost. We didn't have enough energy when the game started. We lost the game in the first couple minutes because we didn't have the look of hunger or determination on our faces.
building effort great team toward
That team effort is what makes great teams. We're not a great team, but we are building toward it.
good people team though win
It's frustrating. Because even though people don't think so, we're a good enough team to win all these games. We're always in position.
hard jump open screens
We have to come off screens hard and just get open shots. If we can jump on them early, we can put them away.
best game seen
This was the best game I've seen J.R. play.
fell
We just fell down mentally. We just caved in.
both
I couldn't pick, I'd give it to both of them.
hit knew
When he hit that, I knew he was going to be hot.
extra putting results surprise work
It doesn't surprise us, because we know we've been working. If you've been putting the work in and doing the extra stuff, the results should be positive.
definitely last minutes seconds
I thought it was definitely going in. But you can't put everything you did over the last 39 minutes and 59 seconds into one shot.
ball expecting gave open wide
I think they were expecting me to come up. But J.R. was wide open so I gave the ball to him and he made the shot.
