bit event gives good improve job nice run time tough work
They all did a nice job in the steeplechase. It was a new event for them. Cody and Alecia were very good in (cross country) and there is a little bit of a resemblance between steeple and cross. It gives them something to work on. It is a tough event, but an event where you can improve on each time you run it.

We are training hard right now. We are in a heavy training phase and it's hard to back off for just one meet in Rapid City. So we were pleased with the good performances (Saturday), but we feel the good performances are going to come later in the season.

I was real pleased with the effort of our team. The weather affects every one's attitude in a lot of ways. We were just fortunate to get good weather like that. It was just tremendous for track.

She's quite an athlete. The discus is a good event for her. I am confident she will throw quite a bit better.

It was really good that the team didn't overlook Chadron. I was a little worried about our team not competing hard at Chadron but that wasn't the case. We feel we have been blessed with some pretty talented kids.

We want to thank the officials organization. We get a really good group of core officials to help with the meet. It would be impossible to host the meet without the support that we have from the community.
country good ideal meets row three weather
The weather was excellent. We've had three meets in row with ideal weather. It's good to get into another part of the country and compete; it was a really good day.
four good later ran team time
Our 4 x 400 ran really tough. We probably still don't have the four on the team we will have later (in the season) when we are healthy, but it was a good time that we ran (Saturday).
country cross distance good mile obviously reflection runners
The mile and the 800 are a reflection of the cross country season. Obviously we are going to have some good distance runners right now.
adds gone historical lists motivational perspective top
The Top 10 lists have been very motivational because it adds a historical perspective to what's gone on.
fast freshman last run
We haven't run that fast in a long while. We had a freshman first (Harms) and last (Jacobs).
conference emphasis
We put a lot of emphasis on the conference meet. To me it's the most important meet.
bodies competing
On the men's side, where we have bodies we are competing well.
love track
We love going down there - it's phenomenal. It's a track for track sake.
