We should have won that second game of the season at New Jersey. We missed a free throw and gave up a three-point play basically at the buzzer. It's a game we felt like we should have won. I guess it is nice to pull out a win against a team that's dominated us.

They're on a level we're not even near yet, although we can play with them on a given night. What are they, 49-11? I guess 'aspire' would be the right word.

We just looked out of it. We looked out of it most of the night.

We just waited too long to start playing. We kind of just sleepwalked through 2 1/2 quarters. Then near the end of the third quarter we finally started getting aggressive. We started driving the ball and our defense picked up.

We just gave them 25 points off turnovers and it's tough to win when you do that. I'm concerned about this one good half, one bad half routine, one good quarter, one bad quarter that we've been in and just the carelessness with the ball. And, a lack of respect for the basketball out there was pretty amateurish.

We were probably one free throw away from winning the game. We weren't able to make it, and we weren't able to get (defensive) stops.

I've said it many times, Kirk does so many things for our team that his shot-making is down the list.
man nice pressure shoot
It would be nice to have Darius because he is another big man who can shoot it. There's a lot of pressure on Malik because he's our only big who can shoot it outside.

It would be nice if we could play well and put somebody away. We were fortunate to get out of here with a win.
