knows rely roads talk time
When you talk to the crews, everybody's tired, but at the same time everyone knows they rely on us to keep the roads open. I think we're doing our best. We're just going to keep trying.
care instead letting roads shape
We think we're in better shape now than we were two years ago. What we have to do is keep repaving our roads and take care of them instead of letting them go to long without having to resurface them again.

affects afford concrete creates sets time traffic
And we can't afford to have traffic on the freeway at the time because it creates vibrations and that affects the way the concrete sets properly.
ground might patch potholes until wait wet
When you patch potholes in wet weather, you might as well be patching with oatmeal. We have to wait until the ground dries up.
job point precedent safety traffic whether
Safety at some point is going to have to take precedent over convenience, but that's some things we're going to have to take a look at, whether we can do the job without really hampering traffic or not.
