enjoy girls prepare themselves until watch
Right now, the girls get to go back and enjoy themselves and I have to watch film. Until I feel prepared, I won't feel like I know what to do tomorrow. I just need to prepare myself and we'll be all right.

We need to refocus. We need to make sure we're not taking anything for granted. We need to attack practice with a different attitude than we did the past two days.

She only played a few minutes the first time. We just weren't matching up well with them, but we've changed some things. And no matter what she does in the game, Miller's always going to be 6-foot-3.

Barnum was just unbelievable. She shot the ball extremely well today.

It's wonderful. He's amazing. I can't be happier for him. He's done an amazing job with that team. He's really well suited for that level.

Not this game. Not the last two games. The first game, I think we did. I think that was part of our problem. Lakeland is extremely talented and Steve has done a wonderful job with them. Those girls wanted it badly and it showed. But we weren't vulnerable today.

We knew they were a team with every capability to go on to states and the federation (tournament). But we weren't going to lose.

We've been working on our defense. We could have a poor shooting night, but suddenly we grab a couple of rebounds and we wake up. Our lapses are always when we're not playing good defense. It's something that Lourdes has always focused on.
girls handle situations
They've been in situations like this before. The girls really do know how to handle themselves.

They exceeded our expectations. They were killing us inside in the first half. We were able to adjust.
amazing excited feels group keeps past superstars talking
This feels great, especially with this group of kids. Everyone keeps talking about how we don't have the superstars of the past teams. This is just such an amazing team. I'm excited to be back here with them.
