I don't know what happened. I felt good today, but I've been sick all week and now I'm not feeling good. ... I guess it just wasn't my time.
I knew I could have won that race, I guess it was just not my time.
When I saw her jumping so well I was cheering her on, too. Back in the village, I told her if she kept with it, she could win a medal. I'm so proud of her, that really motivated me.
Every time one of us runs fast, it makes us step it up even harder. Who knows how far we'll take it?
It's just nice to get back on a track and race.
I'm not shocked she ran that fast, ... But it's going to be a tough one for her, because I plan on bringing it.
I'm really disappointed, ... I think I could have won. I know I could have won.
I ran a fantastic time today world lead and personal best, ... I couldn't have run any faster because of the conditions. I'm very satisfied because I got my revenge today for Helsinki, where Tonique was first and I was only second.
I knew that if she got out in front, she would never come back to the field.
Sometimes I say the medication is even tougher than the illness.
For all of my life I'd been extremely healthy. I'd never had any health issues, so to go from being perfectly healthy to having this very rare disease was scary. In a lot of people it is very severe. Some people go blind, you can have neuro-lesions which affect your brain, so I was very nervous.
I feel as healthy as I've ever felt.
Most of the time our events aren't in the papers and they're not televised, so people don't know when we're competing.
My indulgences are Skittles and rum raisin ice cream.
