ball catch great guy open tackle
It's great to have a guy that big and that graceful. He can catch the ball like a receiver. All I know is that I wouldn't like to have to tackle him in the open field.
difficult proud word
The better word is I am really proud of him because it is difficult as a first-year starter.
coaching experience happiness happy high loved missed though truly
I'm very, very happy to be back in the NFL. I've really missed it so much, even though I've truly loved my experience coaching in high school. Really, every coach should experience that.
everybody
I try to tell everybody that I've ever coached: 'Don't try to be better than the other guy. Just try to be better than you were the day before. That's all you have to do.'
drew forward looking lost rough upside
Drew had a rough year, but the upside is still there. He hasn't lost anything. I'm really looking forward to working with him.
challenges exactly good learning lucky matter raw reacting talent watching
I've been lucky to have raw talent and when you've got that, it's just a matter of learning as much from them as they learn from you, ... Being a good observer, watching exactly how they're reacting to the different challenges that come from each new day.
disease ill learn life looking sick
The one thing about being sick and being ill with a disease that could take your life is that you really learn not to be looking backwards. Just look forward,
blowing eye front guy kept needs period remain standing team veteran
The most important thing when you are going through that kind of period is the guy standing in front of the team needs to remain a pillar. He can't be blowing in the wind, and he didn't. He kept our eye on the ball. He was like a veteran coach.
shape stays
The thing about him is that he stays in shape year-round,
spent time
This is as much time as I've ever spent with a quarterback.
fans game promote promotion
Promotion has become, in many ways, as important as the game itself. As a result, you promote your big-name players, your quarterback, and the fans want to see them play.
ball last wished won
I wished we had won one or two more ball games, especially in the last year,
build care fast flat game good guys kinds mad players shape stayed took
One thing about him is he has always stayed in shape so he can do these kinds of things. Not many players could be away from the game and play as fast as he has. He kind of pisses me off with his flat little tummy. He's always made me mad because he was one of those guys that had the good build and took care of himself.
knows nobody player sure
Nobody knows for sure how a player is going to make the transition.
