We thought we'd start a company ourselves, providing the same services we were learning about in college.

She was bummed out with swimming and was thinking about quitting. Dana was only interested in swimming miles with the long strokes. She did not have any desire to learn the short strokes. I talked with her about changing that, and she had a wonderful attitude with it. She really loves swimming and wanted to fall in love with it again.

She is playing for the sake of the team now. She's learned that the little bumps you hit along the way aren't that bad, and she is now looking at the big picture.

We want the kids to learn about working on yachts, crewing them, marine electronics, boat building and design, interior design and engine repair. Since we have many brokers in the area, we will even have people teach them how to sell yachts. There are so many areas they can pursue.

Being a member of the volunteer fire department gives me an opportunity to serve the public and help people that are in need. I plan to increase my education to be a paramedic and would like to get hired as a professional firefighter in a department that is in the area (possibly as far away as Sacramento) because staying close to family is important to me. I don't believe you can ever learn enough or be the greatest at what you do - there is always room for improvement.

He settled when I jumped out, that was the plan to sit in behind and get him relaxed. But with the pace they were going, I just let him stride on and he relaxed going up there. Slowly but surely he's learned to relax and he's going the right way now.

For our younger players, they experienced firsthand just how fast and furious the pace is on the AHL level, ... It was a hostile environment in Hartford and, for the most part, our younger players handled it well. That experience is invaluable. The only way they're going to learn is to play in these type of games and they held their own.
