game plays tried
We tried to make plays that weren't there, and you can't give Jaromir Jagr that many chances. There are no excuses, you've got to come to play every night. It would have been a very big game to win.
almost both great league obviously players share twist wait ways wish
Both of them are obviously going to be great players in the league for a long time. It's something to see. There's so many different ways you can twist things around, so I think everything's up in the air. You almost wish they could share the award, but you just have to wait and see what happens.
obviously record
That's tough; you'd never think that. But we are getting a little better. We're a better team. Obviously our record doesn't show that, but we know that.
breathe feels
It feels good. We can breathe a little bit.
came great offered team worried
I think I just got worried that if any team came in and offered lot of money, I wouldn't be here. This is the place I want to be. Hopefully, for a long time. We're going to have a great team.
anybody seem
It didn't seem like anybody had a chance.
best buy house stuff
Obviously, it's probably not the best idea to buy a house here this summer. But all this other stuff is out of our control.
bay best character fall hopefully loss montreal tampa true wheels worst
Montreal (an 8-0 loss on Jan. 10, 2004) and Tampa Bay (9-0 loss on Nov. 8, 2003), those are the worst I've ever been part of. They were pretty bad. Sometimes the wheels fall off and you have to put them back on. True character will come out with the way we respond. Hopefully everyone's embarrassed so we can go out there and give our best effort.
easier instead looking page reacting thinking
It's going to be a lot easier when everyone is on the same page and we know where everyone is going to be. Going into Friday's game, we'll be reacting instead of thinking or looking around to see where everyone's at. We'll be doing it instead of having to think about it and that's good.
It's just kind of getting the bounces and the opportunity.
appreciate good
I said I'd appreciate the opportunity. It'll be a good experience. Hopefully, I'll go over there and do well.
great joe tap
Joe made a great play. I just had to tap it in.
great leader miss opportunity stanley win wish
He's a leader on and off the ice. We will miss him. But he has a great opportunity to win a Stanley Cup, so we wish him the best.
best great special
He's been a great friend, a great teammate. He's the best thing going right now. He's one-of-a-kind, a special person.
