That was when our seniors last year were sophomores in 2003. We went through some growing pains, but made the playoffs. I believe we have the kind of potential again coming out today that it takes to be successful.

We played good and got one. I felt our guys responded better to the tough plays, and didn't get down on themselves. That made a difference in the long run.

We got a lot of good innings and experience in today. Every time they take the field, they are going to learn a new lesson. The good thing about this group of guys is that they take those experiences and really learn from them.

Coach David DePriest has done an excellent job. They're much improved this year and we know it will be a battle.

They were hitting the ball really hard. They were going down and getting the pitches. Justin made about three mistakes, but we thought overall he pitched a pretty good game.

This group right here deserves this win. They worked so hard all year. Everybody's called them young all year, including me. They're not a young team anymore and they showed it today.
