body feeling guys managing road salute tougher trips
I've been managing for 14 years. This is one of the tougher road trips I've been on, and I'm not even playing. I know how my body is feeling right now. I can only (guess) how these guys feel. For them to come out and play this well, I salute them.
guys judge proven themselves
I don't judge outings in AAA for guys who have proven themselves physically.
gone good great guys pleased year
We had an outstanding year and the guys did a great job. I'm very pleased with what went on this year. There are a lot of good things that have gone on.
accuracy behind challenge combine gives guy player power presence pure quicker release somebody tools
He's come a long way, (but) he's still developing. I challenge you to find somebody with a quicker release with accuracy than he does. And he gives you a presence behind the plate. You combine that with his pure power at the plate. The guy has all the tools to be a front-line player in the big leagues.
breaking foot front guys kept
He really kept guys on their front foot with his changeup and breaking ball, ... That was big because we'd been working on those pitches.
five games guys handled left level pleased
I'm pleased the way guys have handled it mentally. At this level there can be a lot of agendas. I feel very comfortable with five games left with what we've accomplished.
customers literally pay penny pricing straight true
Pricing is actually a pretty simple and straight forward thing. Customers will not pay literally a penny more than the true value of the product.
coming game good heard job last learn nobody open pitch selection shop work
I've always thought he has done a good job at controlling the game, ... It's easy, in this game, to look at pitch selection when things don't work out properly. I heard that coming in from last year, but I don't see it. He's open to learn and nobody is right all the time. This game is about second-guessing. I'm really comfortable with Shop back there.
bags customers sell sending taste tea
Customers were sending my tea back because of the taste of it. On a day at lunch, we'll sell 100 bags of tea. Today, it was six.
game looked nice settled tone
That was the tone of the game. It looked like we were going to come out and get after it. But he (Borkowski) settled down and did a nice job.
hopefully swelling walking
He rolled his ankle. He's got a little swelling in it. But he was walking around. Hopefully he'll be all right.
cut half possibly
If they take just half of our business, they put us out of business. If they cut that down, there's no way we could possibly make a profit.
lose mind money next nobody paid ton
Nobody in their right mind will do it again. We get paid next to nothing. We lose a ton of money on it. It's really, really labor-intensive.
consequences created experience incentives intended somebody washington
We need different perspectives here in Washington - someone who has private-sector experience, somebody who's actually created jobs, manufactures products, understands the incentives and disincentives, the intended and unintended consequences of legislation.
