hard hard-work mark patton work
Mark Patton showed us what hard work is all about.
cheer extremely fans hard playing
It's not necessarily about making every shot. It's playing extremely hard and I know that's a way to get the fans to cheer for us.
hard run stands
That run stands out a little more when you don't play hard in the first half. We should have been working the whole night.
finishing game hard shooting worked
We worked hard before the game at shooting and finishing better around the basket.
gets harder hurt next push second solve
Once you solve something, it gets harder to solve the next thing. The second half, when we didn't push it up the floor, that hurt us.
effort hard played plays shots
I think we played hard enough and with effort but we didn't make plays down the stretch. We have to make shots when we're doing the hard work.
certainly entire hard next playing
I think we are certainly playing hard enough, but we aren't doing it over the entire game. That's the next thing.
across basket bigger board harder inside night perfect played players playing respond
Gomez had a perfect night. Their inside players played really well. They are bigger than we are across the board and we didn't respond by playing harder or going to the basket stronger.
continues hard mark niche work
Mark Dorris has a lot of quickness. If he continues to work hard he could find a niche for us.
attention game great looking turn
That's the way we are looking at the game Wednesday. UAB is a great team, but now we turn our attention to Tulane in the tournament.
knows three together understand within
That's two in a row. He has to understand what he did and see if he can put it together for three straight. He has to play within the concept. He knows what we need from him.
athletic best both couple front guys gym mark player poised senior strong
Mark is really poised for very strong senior season. He was the best player in the gym up front both nights. They had a couple of 6-8 athletic guys on each team.
difficult earlier eight explosive feeling foul half hit hoping kept memphis minutes overcome run second seven sustain team trouble wall worked
I was hoping we could sustain what we had worked up in the first half, but foul trouble really kept us from going into the second half with the same feeling we had earlier in the (game). Memphis has an explosive team and I think they were able to run us and we hit the wall about six, seven or eight minutes into the second half. And that made it difficult for us to overcome that run.
beaten fact feed home
We need to feed off the fact that we've beaten them. Home or away, we're going to give our best.
