confident continued felt five good guys happen job liked looking people resolute teams whether winning wonder
I did wonder whether it would happen or not. Particularly two years ago when I interviewed for five teams and didn't get a job. I felt if it didn't happen this year, it probably wouldn't. But I was resolute and confident with where I was. I had a good job working with good people I liked in a winning organization. A lot of guys are looking for that. If it didn't happen, I would have just continued to do what I was doing.
anticipate continue general job morning phil savage saw
I anticipate that Phil Savage is the general manager, and I think he will continue in that job. I saw him this morning and he's going about his job as he always does.
continues good hard run
Reuben continues to run hard and give a good effort. We'll keep having him run to give us some life.
camp continued critical drops good hard regular runs shows sign situations training works
He still works hard and runs good routes. If anything, he's had one or two drops at critical situations that if he had made those plays, we would say that his training camp continued to the regular season. He made those drops, and that shows a sign of inconsistency.
along common continue everybody together toward work worked
I think that in any organization working toward a common goal, everybody has to get along and work toward that goal. There are different personalities in our organization. Everybody doesn't have to like everybody, but everybody has to work toward a goal. We've worked together and will continue to work together.
continue fame hall keeps might move ready
If he keeps progressing, he might continue to move (up). But I'm not ready to put him in the Hall of Fame yet.

I'm sure he's disappointed because I know he wanted to be part of a victory. But he's still part of the team and we're looking forward to a speedy recovery.
competing competition everybody football giving guys positions team
I know the competition makes everybody better. So by having guys on the team competing for positions and their jobs, they give me more. And by them giving me more, we should be a better football team.
develop good grow man perfect return screwed
I know that he wasn't perfect because he screwed some things up, but I think he's showed us enough that we feel like he can grow and develop to be a return man in the NFL. We feel good about his abilities and potential.
course enjoy rumors talking week worried
I know that during the course of this week there have been some distractions, and some rumors going around, but I'm going to enjoy this victory. I'm not worried about any rumors. I'm not talking about any rumors, so don't even ask.
hands high himself knows move played playing proven season sees system
Everyone sees his size. But I really like his technique. He knows how to use his hands and move his feet. He's played this system and proven himself in this season by playing at a high level.
blood bone cast determine fact flow good gotten healed maybe piece somewhat supply taking time wrist
The blood supply and blood flow into the wrist is somewhat minimal. He has a piece of a bone in there that was taking a long time (to heal). It's gotten better because of the fact that he's had a cast on. After the season, they're going to take a real good look at it and determine if they need to go in and do something or if it's healed enough to maybe he can do enough without the cast.
good practice today tough
Not much has changed. If they're not good enough to practice today or tomorrow, then it will be tough for them (to play) on Sunday.
feather football head legacy maybe shape win winning
I'm not satisfied, by any shape of the imagination. In this business, you have to win football games. If I have a legacy in this game, I'd like it to be said, 'He was a winning head football coach.' Then maybe I can put a feather in my cap.
