Great theater. Whatever you want to call it.
I don't remember a great deal about it,
We've put ourselves in a great situation, and have a wonderful chance,
For me, it's almost like I turn into a robot, I've done it for so many years. I'm a creature of habit. I've got a great program, I love to do it, so I'm doing it.
It's Houston, Texas, New York and Boston. I love all those places, they have great players that I respect very much.
I think steroids are great for my mother because she needs them. To keep her health. I think they hurt the athletes. They make us break down and do too many things. We've already gone through the proper channels to be tested and to clean it up and, so, we're on our way to do it.
He wanted to give us his congratulations, ... I expect nothing less from Joe. It was great to hear his voice, and he wished us luck.
I know he's looking forward to getting home, but this is exciting for him to be able to meet more of his future teammates, and it's great that I got to be able to see it, too. It's a great facility and a great campus. It's not like the minor league places I've been to.
It was great to see. That kid, I don't know if his feet ever touched the ground.
These people in greater Metropolitan Houston wanted him to play and recruited him, and it made a difference, ... And people seemed to totally and completely understand that he was doing it for the city and the community. And they've never forgotten that. So they adopted him, and he adopted them. And it hasn't hurt that he's performed remarkably for two years.
By far. He's greater than any pitcher I ever faced.
All of these guys had great years, ... Obviously, I knew Jeff and he told me about his younger brother before. I've had the opportunity to talk with the J.P. and Wade as well. They all have a lot of character, will and desire.
We tried to encourage him on many occasions to come out and work with us. He was a big-bodied kid. It was a lot of fun when he started showing up in the mornings, working with us. We had fun and got to know him better.
We were like two tired old men walking out of the tunnel, and then we were like two kids having a good time. We were holding each other up.
