directly ended films good looking movies narrow sort whatever
For something like 15 years, all I did was films or, you know, movies that I thought were going to be films that ended up going directly to video. It was sort of a real narrow opportunity. And now, working on The X-Files has broadened it and I'm looking for whatever is good, good dialogue.
created devoted fans websites
I've been doing this 17 years but I can tell you I have more websites now than I have ever had devoted to me or my past career or my character. When I got this show, I think I had two fans out there that had created websites on my behalf.
acting birth blue collar good grateful job opportunity rare reputation seen shows stuff town work
I think I have a good reputation around town as a hard-working actor who shows up and does his stuff and is professional. I like to think I have a blue collar work ethic. I've never seen acting as a birth right, something that you should take for granted. I think it's a rare kind of job that if you get the opportunity to do, you should be pretty grateful for it. So, I try not to take it for granted.
babies famous fonda jane marching since
We were marching since we were babies and all we did was make Jane Fonda famous
arnold audience believe clone crap difference expecting extent hard hitting homework hope intensity machine people playing scare
Many people may be expecting a walking-talking clone of Arnold but I believe I've done my homework to the extent that the difference between us will be obvious. I'm playing a machine without emotion, but there's an intensity I'm really working hard at hitting that I hope will come through to the audience and scare the crap out of them.
backyard looked mountains
I was working around the backyard and I looked up, 'Is that snow? Right on.'We don't have to go all the way to the mountains to see that now.
carter character chris created enjoyed fantastic thrilled
Chris Carter is just a fantastic guy, I have enjoyed working for him, immensely. I loved this character. I don't think I can say enough about Chris. It's just a fantastic thing that he's created and I'm so thrilled that I've been a part of it. I'm very grateful.
believes character codes fun great guy lives loves playing throwback wrote
They wrote a great character and it's been fun playing a guy that loves America, loves his job, believes in doing the right thing. Doggett has a lot of codes that he lives by and I think it's a throwback character. I believe in a lot of things Doggett believes in.
jobs best-job people
I enjoyed the crew. The best part about 'The X-Files' has been the crew. This crew is an exceptional family and to go to work with a bunch of people that you really like is great. They're all the best of the best and they really try to do the best job they can. I'll miss that
animal target substance
I looked to animal and insect imagery to develop the lack of substance and wasted motion that my Terminator has. I tried to tap into the killer instinct inherent in animals, where they are locked onto a target and will walk through anything that gets between them and their intended target
party want dies
It's my party and I'll die if I want to!
character thinking years
You can't think about how people will perceive you or your character. All you can do is focus on your work. The rest is up to the universe. I've been acting for 16 years. I've done 55 movies and, in all seriousness, there's maybe five that are good and the rest are crap.
sex writing play
If you have to do something, write me a funny AIDS play. Sure you can. It's the biggest joke played on us since sex itself - and with the longest punch line.
men thinking animal
God, think of the great men that have nibbled on me, and now I'm nothing but a snack for a virus - something that can't even decide if it's a plant or an animal.
