Things just went so well for O'Dea. They executed so gracefully and quickly. They held us at bay defensively. We have to take our hats off to them.

On that fast break they look for each other to make that extra pass. They've been together for a long time, so it doesn't matter who scores. They don't really care. Whoever is there for that pass that leads to the bucket, gets it.

I told the guys at halftime that was the best half we've seen of Renton basketball. And they said, 'Coach, we've got a lot more coming.' And that's good to know.

That's Shawn, his leadership is outstanding. He took it upon himself to make those shots. He put the team on his back.
graduated high school
That's strict. I graduated high school with a 3.3, so I could've come to the game, I guess.
fun practices since
I've had the most fun I've ever had coaching. Since they know each other so well, our practices are off the hook.
ron talk
It was outstanding to have Ron Crockett come in here and talk to the kids.

They came out with an excellent game plan, spacing the floor out which offset a lot of our pressure. Our kids knew what was coming. We just failed to be consistent about being where the ball was.
matter
It really doesn't matter to them who scores. They don't care. Whoever's at the end of that pass, they know how to finish.

We know we have work ahead of us.

There were significantly more kids there today, which was nice to see.
