Dumas Walker' was a big hit. It was about a guy who actually sold firecrackers and beer on the Tennessee line. We lived in Kentucky, and you couldn't buy either. Twenty years later we wrote this silly ditty in 20 minutes, but we weren't aware that everyone had a Dumas Walker.
