coming fed great guys section student thank tonight
What a great crowd. We had a great student section tonight and I want to thank everyone for coming out. I thought our guys really fed off that energy.
ball misleading transition turning
We started out making shots, but that was a little misleading because we didn't get back in transition well or rebound. Then we just started turning the ball over and that compounded our problems.
basketball excited forward good move teams
We're excited to move forward and be one of the 105 teams that's still playing. There are some really good basketball teams in this tournament.
game league looks remember team timing
They're a different team (now), no question. It looks as if they've got their game timing down now. . . . And the other thing we have to remember is, they're probably the freshest team in the league right now.
forefront thinking
That's not something at the forefront of Roby's thinking right now.
dish primarily
There was nothing on film that indicated they would take that many 3-pointers. They were primarily a penetrate and dish team.
early game shots
I thought they made big shots all game long .... Not just the early flurry, but just the continuation of making shots.
chance chose guys reason step
I think all these guys have a chance to play. I think that was part of the attractiveness of CU, part of the reason they chose CU, because they could step in and contribute.
assume chance entire everybody good league people programs start strive successful teams unfair walking
I think it's unfair that because the traditional programs aren't just walking over everybody else in the league, people just assume that the league must be down. I just think it's a very good league. That's what you strive for when you start a league ? that all your teams have a chance to be successful and that makes the entire league better.
air concerned flipped guy jump looked saw seen turned
I saw him jump in the air and go for the rebound. And the guy slid under him and he flipped over the guy's back. It looked like everyone that should have seen it just turned away and didn't want to see it. I was concerned for my player.
air concerned guy jump saw seemed seen turned
I saw (Freeman) jump in the air and the guy slipped under him on the guy's back. And it seemed like everyone who should have seen it, turned away. They didn't want to see it. I was concerned for my player.
ball break difference dominated excellent gave guys job kansas points pushing run
Kansas did an excellent job of pushing the ball up the floor. The difference in their break and most other teams' is that their big guys really run the floor. So we gave up too many fast-break points and were dominated on the glass.
good job
He's had some setbacks, but he's done a good job of working his way back.
good grade hate hit nice pitching three
He did a nice job. The three he hit was huge, and his penetration and pitching to Copeland at the end was, too. . . . He's getting there, but I hate to give him a good grade after one good performance.
