He played college football at USC, where he earned consensus All-American honors twice and won a Heisman Trophy, and was drafted by the New Orleans Saints second overall in the 2006 NFL Draft. Sometimes it works in your favor, sometimes it doesn't.
That was pure instincts. That wasn't premeditated at all. I was just trying to be a playmaker. I had used that play a bunch of times in high school, but it didn't work out this time.
I think he's the best running back right now and I just wanted to get a chance to work out with him, see what it takes to be that guy and get to the level he's at. Whatever you think is the most you can work out, double that.
I'm still on West Coast time. So maybe I have a little jet lag or just up to this point for me I haven't really worked on, like, my 40 time. I haven't done too much focusing in that area, as opposed to just trying to gain weight and get bigger and stronger. And now this month I'll focus on my 40 time a little bit more than I have in the last month.
I'm happy for him and I know it'll work out for him. I'm behind him 100 percent. He's like my brother.
For me, being an every-down back is key. It's one of my goals, and I think little things are going to help me do that, like pass blocking. The little things that are going to help you stay in there every down are the things I'm going to have to possibly work on.
