Randy Douglas Edsallis an American football coach who is currently the director of football research-special projects for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. He was the head coach at the University of Maryland from 2011 to 2015. I expect Dennis, being relaxed, to go out and play the game. It's interesting, the one thing about him, the fact that he's coming from Miami is that he's played in front of 10 to 15,000 people before. I know it's not 40,000, but from what I have seen out of him he's a poised young man and a confident young man.

I am extremely disappointed for our seniors that weren't able to get this game and extend their season. Our kids competed hard and played hard, but playing hard doesn't get you what you want. And what we wanted was a win.

The schedule that I've already made for beginning in August, I know this: Regardless of wind, rain, snow, sleet, whatever it may be, I'm never going to have to worry about changing. We can set a schedule and if I want to practice at 3:15 every day, we can practice at 3:15. Every day we're going to practice at 3:15 whether it's outside or it's inside. It will be nice when that day comes.

The schedule gives us balance in terms of not being on the road more than one week at a time. I like that the Big East games are mostly together and later in the season while we also have a good mix of non-conference foes from the ACC, Big Ten and independents along with an old traditional opponent in Rhode Island.

There will be two guys competing. I don't look if a guy is a walk-on or a guy is a scholarship player. I'm looking at who is the best guy that's going to give us our best opportunity to win. That's who we're going to go with. Walk-on or scholarship means nothing to me.
