Don had this plan of relay teams being the base for the rest of the team. And it was very successful for Australia. I had to get over this idea that we would rely on a few good swimmers coming through every year. There had to be a string base to build from and we're starting to see that now.

The men also had a strong 100 freestyle with our first sub-50 second swim in this pool. There's been little turnaround time for our senior team after the worlds and they've responded to the challenge.
