anyone boys broke capable defense fault hope past saves talked upset worry
I was upset and I let it vent. In actuality, if anyone is at fault it's me. Our defense broke down, but I'm capable of making those saves and I didn't. I talked to the boys about (the comments) and they said it's all right, don't worry about it. It's a big deal, but I hope we're past it.
almost best chances everybody faster gets hands happen league left player saving tonight
Savy is the best player in this league ? hands down. He gets chances almost every night. He's pretty much faster than everybody out there. For everything to be going in for him is great. It couldn't happen to a better guy. Hopefully, he didn't use them all up tonight and he's saving some left in the tank.
conference couple finals goes great known last months road
We've known for the last couple months that the road to the (American) Conference Finals goes through Gwinnett. And now we have our chance. It should be a great series.
average bad college game god saves series thank win
I think I was very average on a lot of their goals. If I play to my capability, we win that game 3-1. I don't think they were doing anything special. ... If we're going to win this thing, I have to make those saves on the bad bounces, but thank God it's a series and it's not college where it's one game and out. We can still get the split.
beat defensive felt games half percent team
Ninety-five percent of the games, we play like a first-place team offensively and half of the games we play like a seventh- or eighth-place team defensively. ... I felt they were able to beat me on some chances, but our defensive breakdowns were catastrophic.
climbing couple days erase good guys hard hopefully maybe toward week win
(Tonight) is a big game. We got a couple days off. It's not a whole week which is nice. We had a couple days of good hard practice, and maybe a little rest. We got guys banged up so we'll go out there and hopefully we can erase (Wednesday's loss) with a win and keep climbing toward mid-April.
chris epitome gets gives great guys injuries injury night paying percent plays price skeptical
To me, he's the epitome of a great athlete. He gets these injuries because he plays so hard. I'm always skeptical of guys who don't have an injury here and there because if you're paying the price every night those things are going to happen. Chris gives 100 percent every night.
extra guys
It's gigantic. A lot of guys can use that extra week.
best definitely game gerry knowing opportunity overtime period played turned urgency
There was definitely a sense of urgency in overtime. We went into the overtime period knowing we hadn't played our best game totally. The way (Florida coach) Gerry (Fleming) put it was we had opportunity to right our wrongs. So I think all of us turned it up a notch.
consistency group
As a group we started off with a lot of consistency and we've really battled that lately.
early jump lead second stop teams
I think a lot of teams come out really gunning for us and we're a little lackadaisical. We need to stop that in the second half. We need to jump out to a 2-nothing lead early or at least keep it 0-0.
five game goes happens hits seven shots
I go down pretty well on every shot. I always will. It's percentages. I think five of those seven shots grazed me. It's a game of inches. If it happens the other way, it hits me and goes over the glass.
