everybody good playing plays respect somebody spring stays training until wait
Obviously, when you have depth, it's good in one respect for the team, but it's difficult, because if everybody stays healthy, somebody doesn't get much playing time. We'll have to wait until we get to spring training to see how that plays out.
defensive glass great half happened needed plays run
It's happened because we had great pitching, great defensive plays and we managed to come up with a run when we needed it sometimes. The glass is half full, not half empty.
appreciate david game gets hard hat plays tip
You've got to tip your hat to David Eckstein. He plays the game as hard as you can play it. On the other side, you don't like him because he really gets in your hair, but you appreciate what he does.
along couple course easy games hill job nice plays shown terrific
I think Willy has shown us that he can play in these big games all along the course of the season. He's come up big for us, and he's made a couple of really nice plays in the hill out there, but that was not an easy play (to end the eighth) and he did a terrific job on that.
critical facing four guy hard job key maybe plays sit somebody three tough toughest
He handles everything well, and for a guy who plays maybe once a week, it's tough to do well in a job like that. Pinch-hitting is one of the toughest jobs, you're usually facing somebody tough. It's hard to sit around for three or four days, then try to go up there and get a key at-bat in a critical situation.
against ball bat care decent few good job pitches swinging team threw
We just had a lot of Dontrelle Willis tonight, more than I'd care to see, ... Brandon (Backe) threw the ball well. He had a lot of good pitches and only a few mistakes. That was a decent job against a team that is really swinging the bat well.

against bottom good job line missed pitches pitching zone
We missed some pitches that we should have hit, and we expanded the (strike) zone sometimes when we probably shouldn't have. But the bottom line is they did a pretty good job of pitching against us.
happening hits parts timely
What's happening is we're getting timely hits and we're doing it from all parts of the lineup.
balls three
We had three balls that should have been caught,
good normally
We had the lead. When we get it, normally we keep it. We will. We're good at it. We've been doing it all year.
advantages depth helps problem somebody
The problem comes if somebody doesn't get to play, and that's the advantages of depth and it helps the team, but some individuals will get hurt. I don't how that's going to work.
certainly pieces
We certainly have depth. That's one of the plusses, and we have pieces we can move.
