ok starts worry
The whole thing is OK. It's OK with the team. We don't have to worry about what he does in between starts because we know he does his work. It's evidenced by the way he pitches.
bruise guess half knee next ok percent somewhat sort
I guess I could say the bruise is sort of diffused somewhat so he doesn't have a half sized watermelon on his knee now. I feel 100 percent that he will be OK to make his next start.
feeling hope major ok red seems
If I say I am concerned, it seems like there's a red flag. There are no red flags. I just hope it's OK and I hope it's getting better and that he's feeling good. I don't see that this is a major issue.
bruise calf inner knee next ok size spread
The bruise is diffused somewhat, so he doesn't have a big (welt) the size of a watermelon on his knee now. It's spread up his calf and inner thigh a little bit. He's sore, but he's just fine. I feel 100% that he will be OK to make his next start.
both days ok played rule saying straight teams
I thought the rule was if you played 19 straight days and it went over 19 straight ? if you played 20 straight days ? you had to have the OK of the players. If we played on May 8, that would put both teams on 20 straight days. They're saying now it's 20 straight days, and the 21st is when you have to get an OK (from the players). That's probably new.
felt ok
I felt that he would be OK (in that situation),
against ball bat care decent few good job pitches swinging team threw
We just had a lot of Dontrelle Willis tonight, more than I'd care to see, ... Brandon (Backe) threw the ball well. He had a lot of good pitches and only a few mistakes. That was a decent job against a team that is really swinging the bat well.
care
We just had a lot of Dontrelle Willis tonight, more than I'd care to see.
against bottom good job line missed pitches pitching zone
We missed some pitches that we should have hit, and we expanded the (strike) zone sometimes when we probably shouldn't have. But the bottom line is they did a pretty good job of pitching against us.
happening hits parts timely
What's happening is we're getting timely hits and we're doing it from all parts of the lineup.
balls three
We had three balls that should have been caught,
good normally
We had the lead. When we get it, normally we keep it. We will. We're good at it. We've been doing it all year.
advantages depth helps problem somebody
The problem comes if somebody doesn't get to play, and that's the advantages of depth and it helps the team, but some individuals will get hurt. I don't how that's going to work.
certainly pieces
We certainly have depth. That's one of the plusses, and we have pieces we can move.
