It would have been nicer if this was a Canadian (medal). It is kind of bittersweet. At 14, I saw him around Whistler. The family moved to Whistler to further their skiing to be closer to the best training they could get.

At the end of the day, the three best mogul skiers ended up on the podium. I'm happy for him, regardless of what flag he's carrying, and I'm extremely proud of the way our guys performed.

We could have had a lot more wind damage, certainly. And the rain, we ended up on the low end of the scale of what we could have gotten, around 2 inches around the state. We managed to avoid the worst-case scenario.

Obviously, it'd be a challenge to move a ton of people off Cape Cod. But I don't think a full evacuation of the Cape would ever be necessary.

Most of the teams are really starting to grasp the concept of performance on demand rather than just showing up. I hope Canadians understand this is about performance. It's about carrying the Canadian flag on a bigger playing field and not just the symbolic carrying of the flag in the opening ceremony.

I feel real bad for Marc-Andre. He did a great job. You could say there's a bitter irony in this.
