continue dormant forgotten good group move stay stocks
These stocks are the forgotten group -- they continue to stay dormant and move lower, but they actually become a good buy,
add buyers continue earnings energy euro fall feeds market sea selling trapped wall worry
Energy prices, earnings and the fall of the euro all continue to add to that wall of worry and the market is trapped here in a sea of uncertainty, ... There are no buyers and the selling just feeds on itself.

ahead based continues driving earnings economic market move question rally rotation seems
There's no question it's earnings-driven. The rally continues to move ahead but on a rotation basis. There are two things driving the market - earnings and economic data. Today's market seems more based on earnings than economic data.
along continue economic line negative oil prices rise somewhere
We can't continue to have oil prices rise without impacting prices and economic activity. Somewhere along the line it will have a negative impact.

along continue fed guess helped market microsoft obviously philip strength volume
Obviously the Dow is being helped by the strength in Philip Morris, along with Microsoft and Intel. It's an 'old economy'-'new economy' rally. But volume is not all that great, so obviously the market will continue to guess what the Fed will or will not do.
bad bottom bouncing business cell continue encounter estimates europe extremely forward good grow hot keeps lately levels might negative news obviously parts quarter research seem stock tells
Obviously the cell business is extremely hot in Europe and it's going to continue and it's going to grow in other parts of the world and I think a good supplier of that comes from Motorola ( MOT : Research , Estimates ) and again, the stock has absorbed a lot of negative news lately and it does seem to have made a bottom and it keeps bouncing off its lows. So that tells me that, you know, going forward things will change. We might encounter another quarter of bad news out of them but I think at these levels it should be bought.

It's a cautious day at the end of an up quarter, ... I think we'll continue to see caution next week as we await the start of the third-quarter earnings reporting season, and look at some of the key economic numbers, particularly the unemployment number Friday.

carnage certainly continued earnings feels finding help itself market nervous preparing state wait weight
What we're going through is a market finding itself in a very nervous state and is preparing itself for third-quarter earnings, ... As we wait for the earnings to come out, the market feels the weight of the continued carnage in 'new economy' stocks. Dell's announcement was certainly no help in reversing market psychology.
