I'm first and foremost a writer. I followed my personal legend, my childhood dream of becoming a writer, but I can't say why I'm one.
The first indication that we are killing our dreams is lack of time.
Few take up the burden of their own victory; most give up their dreams when these become impossible.
There are two kinds of world: the one we dream about and the real one.
It is not enough to dream of the Impossible Love - it is necessary to conquer it too.
At the beginning of his struggle, the Warrior says: "I have dreams."
He is now walking from his dream.
Open your heart and listen to what it is telling you. Follow your dreams, because only a man who is unashamed of himself can manifest the glory of God.
Often, during combat, the warrior of light receives blows that he was not expecting. And he realizes that, during a war, his enemy is bound to win some of the battles. When this happens, the warrior of light weeps bitter tears and rests in order to recover his energies a little. But he immediately resumes the battle for his dreams.
The desert takes our dreams away from us, and they don't always return. We know that, and we are used to it. Those who don't return become a part of the clouds, a part of the animals that hide in the ravines and of the water that comes from the earth. They become part of everything. They become the Soul of the World.
When everything seems to be going well and your dream is almost within your gasp, that is when you must be more alert than ever.
Dreaming carries no risks. The dangerous thing is trying to transform your dreams into reality.
Item one: the law of the will. We just talked about this: one should only do that which truly fills our hearts with enthusiasm. If we brush this aside, if we put off the moment to live that which we dream of, we lose the energy necessary for any important transformation in our lives. Someone once put this most succinctly: “I don’t know the secret of success - but the secret of failure is to always try to follow the will of others.
Our dreams are our own, and only we can know the effort required to keep them alive.
